Sisters Rodeo Tickets & 2023 Event Schedule

The Sisters Rodeo takes place each June in Sisters, Oregon; a town of around 2,000 people a few hours South of Portland. The rodeo has been a staple in the area since its inception in 1940. The Sisters Rodeo bills itself as "the biggest little show in the world" and the 5-day event is filled with a near capacity just about every night.

The first day is the Xtreme Bulls, and day two is slack to set the field for the rodeo. Friday to Sunday are the official rodeo competitions, with Saturday typically includes a day (1pm) session and evening (7pm) session. The Sisters Rodeo includes: Bareback Riding, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Bronc Riding, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping & Xtreme Bulls.

The Sisters Rodeo Arena has eight sections: Gold 1, Gold 2, Red 1, Red 2, Red 3 (reserved for contest winners), Red 4, Blue 1 and Blue 2. There are box seats located adjacent to Blue 1. Each section is relatively small with only approximately 15 rows from the dirt to the top. The Bucking Chutes and Roping Chutes are both at the top of the arena (open-end of the horseshoe) which are closest to sections Gold 1 and Blue 1. Rodeo fans in Oregon may also enjoy the Pendleton Roundup which takes place in September a few hours of the Sisters Rodeo by Pilot Rock, Oregon. The Pendleton Roundup is one of the biggest in the area and has crowds that are 15,000+ bigger than the Sisters Rodeo.
